Railway connection work on Padma Bridge to start this month
Dhaka, July 15: The work of rail connection project on Padma Bridge is starting this month. Railway Minister Nurul Islam Sujan expressed this optimism. He said a major obstacle was the work on the bridge.
Trains to go through Padma Bridge in June next year
Dhaka, June 24: The 'Padma Bridge Rail Link Project' will be inaugurated in June 2023, exactly one year after the launch of the dream Padma Bridge on June 25. The railway will run from Dhaka to Jessore via the Padma Bridge. The total length of this railway is 172 kms. Of this, 23 kms will be fully elevated. There will be no level crossing anywhere on the railway to Jessore. This will save time, accidents will not happen. It is going to be the first railway in the country without flying and level crossings.
