Prime Minister Hasina calls for using railways in online trade
Dhaka, May 28: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has called for utilizing rail connectivity to increase online trade and commerce. The Prime Minister made the remarks while laying the foundation stone of a new railway line project from Madhukhali in Faridpur to Magura via Kamarkhali via video conferencing on Thursday (May 27).
Chilahati-Haldibari railway line awaiting inauguration
Dhaka, October 28: After 55 years, people of both Bangladesh and India will witness the resumption of railway service on the Chilahati-Haldibari route, the trial run of which was completed on Tuesday (October 28) at 12 noon. Nilphamari Deputy Commissioner Md. Hafizur Rahman Chowdhury inaugurated the trail run.
