15 Bangladeshi-origin candidates win in the UK local government elections
Dhaka, May 7: A large number of candidates of Bangladeshi descent have run in the UK local government elections this year. Many of them have won the elections. Of these, only 15 people from Moulvibazar (by birth) have been reported to have won. The counting of votes in the UK local government elections on Thursday is nearing completion. Votes are counted in different parts of the country overnight.
