Dhaka, March 9: The participation of women in judicial work in the country is gradually increasing. Fifty years ago there was only one woman judge in the country. At present, there are 580 women judges engaged in judicial (subordinate) courts of the country.

4 Bangladeshi women judges for the first time in UN Peacekeeping Mission

Dhaka, March 8: For the first time, four Bangladeshi women judges are going to take part in the UN peacekeeping mission. Three of them will join the UN peacekeeping mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) and the other in the UN peacekeeping mission in Somalia (UNSOM).
