Meanwhile, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested 28 people in 13 cases filed against them for burning buses and government vehicles. They have also been remanded in court for various terms.

By-election: Five buses torched in Dhaka

Dhaka, November 12: At least five buses were set on fire in the heart of the capital during the by-elections in Dhaka-18 constituency. Fire Service Control Room official Mohammad Sabbir said the incidents took place between 12:30 pm and 2:15 pm on Thursday.
