Unloading at Chittagong port stopped due to transport strike

Dhaka, November 5: Unloading of goods at Chittagong seaport has been suspended due to ongoing transport strike in protest of rising diesel and kerosene prices. No unloading vehicles were seen entering or leaving the port since dawn on Friday (November 5). However, import-export goods are being brought and taken from the port to various depots and the internal activities of the port are normal.
