Dhaka, December 3: For the first time in the country, two children (Nuha and Naba) who are joined at the spine (conjoined twins), are being surgically separated. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Hossain, Professor of Department of Neurosurgery and Dean of Faculty of Surgery, will lead this complex and sensitive surgery at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). In this case, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has borne the medical expenses of two children.
