Parliamentary committee recommends effective measures to prevent rumours and untruths
Dhaka, October 1: In addition to social media, the parliamentary committee has recommended effective measures to prevent rumours and untrue/fake news in various media. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has been asked to take action in this regard. The recommendation was made at the ninth meeting of the Standing Committee on the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting held at the Parliament House on Thursday (September 30).

ঢাকা, জানুয়ারি ৯ ঃ মন্ত্রণালয়ের দায়িত্ব নিয়ে ‘ভুঁইফোড়’ অনলাইন সংবাদমাধ্যমের বিরুদ্ধে ব্যবস্থা নেওয়ার কথা বলেছেন নতুন তথ্যমন্ত্রী হাছান মাহমুদ। মঙ্গলবার সচিবালয়ে প্রথম দিন অফিস করতে এসে সাংবাদিকদের সঙ্গে মতবিনিময়ে এই ঘোষণা দেন তিনি।
