Dhaka, May 15: An Indian variant of the coronavirus has been identified in the bodies of two patients at the DNCC's Dedicated Corona Hospital in Dhaka. The hospital's director Brigadier General AKM Nasir confirmed the matter to media on Friday.

Indian variant of coronavirus detected in the country

Dhaka, May 8: An Indian variant of the deadly coronavirus has been identified in the country. The Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) said on Saturday (May 8) that the Indian stain had been detected in a sample test at the Evercare Hospital in the capital. It was published in the Global Initiative on Sharing Avian Influenza Data (GISAID) in Germany.
