Dhaka, April 1: A large consignment of onions from India arrived at Darshana port in Chuadanga first by train. Bangladesh Trading Corporation (TCB) is said to have imported these onions as an importer.

India allows onion export to Bangladesh

Dhaka, Feb 19: The Indian government has allowed the export of onions in limited quantities to some selected countries including Bangladesh. The country's English daily Economic Times published such news on Monday (February 19).

Onion will be imported from 9 more countries

Dhaka, August 25: Apart from India, import of onion from nine other countries has been approved. This information was shared in a press release from the Ministry of Agriculture on Thursday. The countries are - China, Egypt, Pakistan, Qatar, Turkey, Myanmar, Thailand, Netherlands and UAE.

Indian tariff will not affect onion prices: Agriculture Minister
