Bangladesh observing holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi today

Dhaka, October 20: Today is the day of birth and death of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the holy Eid Miladunnabi (peace be upon him). Various programs have been taken to celebrate the day in an atmosphere of due religious dignity and solemnity all over the country including the capital Dhaka. Today is a public holiday. President Md. Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have given separate messages on the occasion of Holy Eid Miladunnabi.

Bangladesh to observe Eid Milad un Nabi on October 20

Dhaka, October 8: The moon of Rabiul Awal month was not seen in the sky of Bangladesh on Thursday evening. Therefore, the counting of Rabiul Awal month will start from tomorrow, Saturday (October 9). The holy Eid Milad un Nabi will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 20 (12 Rabiul Awal).

Dhaka, October 30: The Islamic community in Bangladesh will celebrate the holy Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi on Friday (October 30) 12 Rabiul Awal. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was born on this day in the desert of Arabia. He was born about 1,400 years ago.
