Actress' Death Actress Humaira Himu dies, boyfriend Rafi arrested
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, 4 November 2023: Popular small screen actress Humaira Himu passed away. He was found hanging with a rope in the fan hangar on Thursday afternoon. From there Himu was taken to the hospital where the doctors on duty declared him dead.
Humaira Himu's alleged boyfriend Rafi has been arrested by the police in this incident. With whom she was recently engaged in marriage talks. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DC) Uttara Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Morshed Alam said this.
According to the relatives, Himu committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in Sector 10 Uttara on Thursday. In this regard, Deputy Police Commissioner of Uttara Division, Morshed Alam said, "She was talking about marriage with his lover Urfi." Urfi had a quarrel with Humaira Himu for a few days.
Uttara's Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police (AC) Jyotirmoy Saha said about the family, "Himu was found hanging with a nylon rope in the fan hangar. Later, relatives rescued her and took her to Uttara Modern Medical College Hospital, where the doctor on duty declared her dead on arrival. Meanwhile, RAB has arrested Humayra Himu's alleged lover Mohammad Ziauddin alias Rafi. He was arrested on Friday, November 3.
RAB Legal and Media Wing Director Commander Khandaker Al Moin said that after Humaira Himu's death, allegations were received that Himu's marriage was being discussed with her boyfriend Rafi. Rafi leaves Himu in the hospital and runs away. He was arrested after a raid.
Mohammad Ziauddin alias Rafi is being interrogated, Commander Khandaker Al Moin said, the mystery of Homaira Himu's death will be revealed.
According to the police, Humaira Himu, a child of a broken family, lived in her house on road number 2 of Sector 10 Uttara of the capital. After receiving information in the afternoon, the police went to the spot and found his body hanging.
