Tama-Hisham Divorce Actress Tama Mirza gets divorced
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, January 29: In May 2019, National Film Award-winning actress Tama Mirza got married in a hurry. She tied the knot with Hisham Chishti. Hisham, a Canadian citizen of Bangladeshi descent, is a businessman by profession. Just a year after the wedding, their relationship had started getting cracked. Tama and her husband brought charges of beating against each other. They also filed a case against each other at the police station. The matter was shifted to the court.
Then Tama left her husband and started living alone. The news had been kept secret. In May 2021, members of the two families held talks. Tama and Hisham signed an affidavit to take up the case. They signed the affidavit in presence of the members of the two families and with the consent. However, the problem was not sorted completely. A few months later, on September 7, Hisham sent a divorce notice to Tama through his lawyer. According to the law, all the complications of the relationship were settled within three months and the separation became effective. This information has been confirmed by Tama Mirza herself.
"There have been a lot of tears and trouble in this relationship. There was no way to pull off this relation. So the separation has taken place," Tama said.
Hisham Chishti got acquainted with Tama in 2018, and they got married in May 2019. After one year of marriage, there was a rift between the duo. The husband and wife bring charges against each other, and the matter later moved to the court. However, the relationship could not be saved. The marriage of the star has broken up. She has been living apart from her husband for a long time.
Meanwhile, Hisham Chishti also confirmed that he had sent a divorce notice to Tama through his lawyer on September 7.
Hisham said, "There has been a lot of trouble since the marriage. I can't tolerate it anymore. I have a family, and a family respect. Considering all this, we have not taken up all the cases by signing the affidavit in front of the witnesses on May 3, 2021. Then I decided to get divorced. I sent her a divorce notice on September 7. According to the law, all the complications of the relationship have been resolved after three months."
