Dhakai Movies Dhakai films rule the box-office in 2023
Entertainment Reporter, Dhaka, 27 December 2023: Several movies created a stir among film lovers in the country during the outgoing year. Movie theaters were thronged like never before. It is said that the year 2023 was the triumphant year of Dhaka cinema.
More than half a hundred movies have been released this year. Some of these movies have made the audience go crazy. Some of the most talked about movies of 2023 -
'Mujib: Shaper of a Nation': The people of the country have been waiting for this movie since the name was announced. The movie 'Mujib: Shaper of a Nation' is based on the biography of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Everyone was interested in the movie for a good reason. It simultaneously released in more than 153 theaters in the country. The movie was released on October 13 this year.
'Priyotoma': This movie titled 'Priyotoma' was released on Eid-ul-Azha this year. Dhakai movie's top hero Shakib Khan played the central role in it. After the release of the movie, it stormed the theaters of the country and abroad. The movie is directed by Himel Ashraf. It was released in over a hundred theaters. Shakib Khan's new look in the movie 'Priyotoma' was a hit with the audience. Two songs titled 'O Priyotoma' and 'Ishwar' from this movie became super-duper hits. Apart from Shakib Khan, Idhika Paul, Shahiduzzaman Salim, Kazi Hayat and many others acted in this movie. The movie released on June 29.
'Suranga': This movie also released across the country on Eid-ul-Azha this year. Through this popular small screen actor Afran Nisho made his film debut. The actor surprised the fans in the first movie. On Eid-ul-Azha, the multiplexes of the country saw a huge crowd of visitors to watch the 'tunnel'. The movie 'Suranga' is produced by 'Paran' famous director Raihan Rafi.
'Leader: I am Bangladesh': Dhakai movie superstar Shakib Khan's movie 'Leader: I am Bangladesh' was released on April 22 this year. Shakib Khan returned to theaters after a long time through this movie. There was no lack of interest among the audience for this movie.
'Prahelika': The movie 'Prahelika', released on Eid-ul-Azha, also caught everyone's attention. Starring small screen actors Mahfuz Ahmed and Bubli, the movie was loved by the general audience as well as film connoisseurs. The first song of the movie 'Megher Noaka' has been heard by the mouth of music lovers. Imran and Konal have given voice to this song.
