Dhaka, May 28: Bangladesh has demanded justice for Israel's illegal occupation and aggression in the Gaza Strip. Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen called on the UN Human Rights Council to take action.

We do not recognise Israel as a country: AK Abdul Momen

Dhaka, May 27: Foreign Minister Dr. Ak Abdul Momen has said that Bangladesh does not recognise Israel as a country, so if any Bangladeshi travels to the country, he or she will be punished. The minister made the remarks at a handover ceremony of medicines to Palestinians at the state guest house Padma in the capital on Wednesday (May 26).

Bangladesh calls on the Security Council to resolve the Palestinian crisis

Dhaka, May 17: Bangladesh has called on the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to take urgent steps to end the ongoing violence and ensure security in Palestine. The call was made by Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen at an emergency virtual meeting of the 57-member Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Sunday (May 16).
