5 lakh 3 thousand vacancies in government jobs

Personal representative, Dhaka, 8 February 2024: Public Administration Minister Farhad Hossain said that there are 5 lakh 3 thousand 333 vacancies against the posts of officers and employees of all ministries, departments, directorates and offices. He said this in response to a written question of Md. Mamunur Rashid Kiran, Member of Parliament of Noakhali-3 Constituency in the session of the 12th National Parliament on Wednesday.

BCKP demands 35-year age limit in government jobs

Dhaka, November 14: The Bangladesh Chhatra Kalyan Parishad has held a 'shackled' rally demanding four points including raising the age limit for joining government service to 35. The program was held at Shahbagh in the capital on Friday (November 13) afternoon. If the demands are not met within this month, they have announced a nationwide movement from next month.
