Dhaka, Jan 5: Addressing the senior police officers, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that in the future, we must be vigilant so that no one can disrupt our economic progress, no one dares to commit arson attacks, peace and security in people's lives.

Police did not present any demands to Prime Minister this year

Dhaka, Jan 4: The six-day Police Week-2023 started with a colourful event under the theme "Bangabandhu's Bangladesh police are on the side of the people". Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated Police Week with the annual Police Parade at Rajarbagh Police Lines Ground on Tuesday (January 3) morning. When the Prime Minister came to the Rajarbagh Police Lines ground at 10 am, she was welcomed by Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and Inspector General of Police (AGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun.

Police Week 2023: 115 officers awarded medals

Dhaka, Jan 3: In 2022, 115 police officers were awarded Bangladesh Police Medal BPM and President Police Medal PPM in recognition of bravery and heroic deeds. On Tuesday (January 3) at 10:30 am, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina put on the badges of the police officers who received medals at Rajarbagh Police Lines in the capital.
