PM wants to boost bilateral trade between Bangladesh and Kosovo

Dhaka, Dec 19: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that Bangladesh and Kosovo can increase bilateral trade for mutual benefit.

She said, "There is ample scope to increase the volume of bilateral trade and Kosovo can benefit greatly by importing high-quality manufactured garments and medicines from Bangladesh at affordable prices."

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said this when the Ambassador of Kosovo to Bangladesh, Gunar Urea, went to meet her at her official residence Ganabhaban on Monday. After the meeting, Prime Minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim briefed the journalists.

Sheikh Hasina praised the role of the ambassador of Kosovo in developing bilateral relations between the two countries during her tenure as the first ambassador of her country. The Ambassador of Kosovo praised the unprecedented development of Bangladesh under the dynamic leadership of Sheikh Hasina in the last 15 years.

He said, "Bangladesh will be a big economic country on the world stage in the future."

The Ambassador also thanked the Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of External Affairs for helping him complete his tenure in Bangladesh successfully.

He said that 19,000 Bangladeshi workers are working in Kosovo.

At that time, Prime Minister's Ambassador at Large M. Ziauddin and Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister Md. Tofazzel Hossain Mia were present.
