Bangabandhu's killer escapes by dodging Canadian TV channel
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, 21 November 2023: An absconding accused convicted of the direct assassination of Bangladeshi architect Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, escaped in the face of questioning by Canada's CBC TV network. Canadian national television was seeking his comment about his role in the killings and the story he told Canadian officials to protect himself.
Commission to be set up to find those behind Bangabandhu's assassination
Dhaka, November 20: Law Minister Anisul Haque has said a commission is being formed to find out those behind the assassination of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. He also said that discussions are underway on the process of formation of the commission. The minister made the remarks in response to a question from Monira Sultana, a member of the reserved seat in the National Assembly, on Thursday (November 19).
