Prime Minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said on Tuesday that the press conference would start at 4 pm on Wednesday at Ganobhaban, her official residence .

Prime Minister's visit to France is historic, says Foreign Minister Momen

Dhaka, November 13: Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen has termed Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's visit to France as historic. He said the European country has shown rare respect for the prime minister amd expressed interest in taking bilateral relations with Bangladesh to new heights.

Hasina's France visit: Three agreements signed between Dhaka and Paris

Dhaka, November 12: Bangladesh and France have signed three agreements on financial and technical assistance. The agreements were signed on Wednesday during Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's state visit to the country. Under the two agreements, France will provide 330 million euros (Tk 32,48,04,67,116.90) to Dhaka to support Bangladesh's development projects.

France will stand by Bangladesh until the Rohingya issue is resolved

Dhaka, November 12: France has said it will stand by Bangladesh until a lasting solution to the Rohingya crisis is found. Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen made the remarks at a press briefing in Paris on Wednesday. He said the call was made by Bangladesh during Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's talks with top leaders of France.

Hasina, Macron to bolster Bangladesh-France ties

Dhaka, November 11: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has left for France at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron. The two leaders also met at the Elysee Palace in Paris on Wednesday (November 9). Issues such as bilateral relations, development, security, climate and the Rohingya crisis were also raised during the meeting. They expressed hope for further enhancement of mutual cooperation in these matters, according to a joint statement from the French President's office.
