Padma Bridge: 660 crore toll collected in 10 months

Dhaka, April 27: Since its inauguration i.e. from June 26 last year to April 25 this year, a total of Tk 660 crore 24 thousand 150 in toll have been collected from Padma Bridge, said Road Transport and Bridges Minister and General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League Obaidul Quader.

Record Tk 4.19 crore toll collection on Padma Bridge in a single day

Own Correspondent, Dhaka, July 10: The highest daily toll collection on the Padma Bridge has been recorded. A maximum of 31,723 vehicles crossed the Padma Bridge on Friday ahead of the Eid-ul-Azha. Tk 4 crore 19 lakh 39 thousand 650 rupees toll has been collected from those vehicles, which is the highest record of toll collection in a single day so far.

Tk 2 cr 9 lakh 40 thousand 300 toll collection in first 20 hours on Padma Bridge

Own Correspondent, Dhaka, June 27: The Padma Bridge was opened to traffic on Sunday (June 26) from 6 am. In the first 20 hours, Tk 2 crore 9 lakh 40 thousand 300 has been collected from the bridge as toll.

Prime Minister Hasina becomes first toll payer at Padma Bridge

Dhaka, June 25: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina started the process of paying toll soon after the much awaited Padma Multipurpose Bridge was opened to traffic. According to officials, the Prime Minister is the first person to cross the Padma Bridge by paying the toll.
