Afghanistan: Airstrike guns down at least five IS militants in Kunar
Kabul, Aug 25: At least five Islamic State (IS) militants have been gunned down in an airstrike conducted by foreign forces in Afghanistan's Kunar province recently, reports said.
The said offensive was carried out in Manogi and Narang districts of the province.
Confirming the report, the 201st Selab Military Corps said on Saturday that the foreign forces targeted IS hideouts in the province.
The militant group is yet to comment on the report.
