Pakistan: 11 killed in cinema hall blasts
Peshawar, Feb 11: At least 11 people were killed as multiple blasts rocked Peshawar’s Shama Cinema on Tuesday, media reports said.
According to reports, three blasts hit the cinema hall which left 25 others injured.
"A screening was underway at the cinema when three hand grenades went off in quick succession," Geo News reported.
Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Ijaz Ahmed told Geo News: “The first hand grenade was detonated in the front, second in the rear followed by the third blast in the cinema.”
The injured people have been shifted to the hospital.
