Pakistan: Facilitator of Peshawar school attack killed

Peshawar, Dec 26: The facilitator of the attack on the Army Public School in Pakistan's Peshawar city was killed in a raid conducted by security forces and political administration, reports said on Friday.

 "According to the Political Agent Shahab Ali Shah, Commander Saddam was killed by security forces and was a member of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP)," Geo TV reported.

 
He was believed to be a key operational commander of the Tariq Gedar group of Tehreek-i-Taliban (TTP) and facilitated the Taliban gunmen who had launched the attack on Army Public School in Peshawar.
 
"Shahab Ali said that Saddam was killed in a raid conducted in the Jamrud Tehsil of Khyber Agency on Thursday (December 25) while six militants were injured and arrested," Geo TV reported.
 
On Dec 16, Taliban militants attacked a Peshawar school killing 141 people, including 132 students.
