Karachi, Mar 7: A rights group in Pakistan has advised people against traveling to India as swine flu has claimed nearly 1000 lives in the neighbouring nation, media reports said.

Ansar Burney Trust Chairman has also urged Pakistani nationals, who are currently in India, to avoid visiting areas affected by the disease.

"Burney has requested President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to take measures to prevent the spread of swine flu," Dawn News reported.
