Three militant attacks hit J&K inn four hours, 3 cops killed

Srinagar, Apr 6: In fresh strikes by militants in Jammu and Kashmir, at least three policemen were killed in the state on Monday, officials said.

 The state witnessed three attacks in a span of four hours.

According to reports, a team of policemen were on their way to Shopian village in south Kashmir to investigate the case when terrorists opened fire on them.

One head constable and two constables were killed in the attack.

Earlier in the day, militants had shot at and critically injured a police officer at Pattan in Baramulla district of the north Indian state.

 Ghulam Mustafa was shot at by armed gunman (s) with pistols, in a bus that was on its way to Pattan.

According to reports, the driver took the bus to a police post where the personnel took the officer to a hospital.

A civilian was injured in Tral in south Kashmir. 

The police said he was attacked on suspicion that he was an informer for security forces.
