Warrant issued against Musharraf
Islamabad, Jan 31 : A Pakistani court, which is hearing the treason case against Pervez Musharraf, issued a bailable arrest warrant against the former Pakistani President.
The court also directed authorities to produce him before it on Feb 7.
The court also rejected Musharraf\'s plea seeking permission to have medical treatments abroad.
Musharraf was hospitalised after he suffered “heart problem” earlier this month.
Musharraf returned to Pakistan in March last year after years of self-exile in the UK.
Musharraf rose to power in Pakistan in a coup in 1999. He had stepped down from the power in 2008 and was threatened with impeachment, which resulted in his self-exile.
