Dhaka, Feb 14: Saraswati Puja, one of the religious festivals of the Hindu community, is being observed today (Wednesday, Feb 14).
Saraswati Puja held in 73 Mandaps in DU
Dhaka, January 27: Puja of goddess Saraswati of the Hindu community was held in Dhaka University (DU) in a festive atmosphere. On Thursday at 10:30 am, the puja program officially started at the University's Jagannath Hall with anjali (offerings). Last two years it was organized on a small scale due to Covid, but this time the puja was held in the traditional way.

নিজস্ব প্রতিনিধি, ঢাকা, জানুয়ারি ১৭ : সরস্বতী পূজার কারণে ঢাকার দুই সিটি করপোরেশন নির্বাচনে ভোটের তারিখ পরিবর্তনের নির্দেশনা চেয়ে করা রিট খারিজের বিরুদ্ধে সুপ্রিম কোর্টের আপিল বিভাগে আবেদন করা হয়েছে। আপিল আবেদনে ৩০ জানুয়ারি নির্বাচন স্থগিত চাওয়ার পাশাপাশি ভোটগ্রহণের জন্য নতুন তারিখ নির্ধারণ করতে আর্জি জানানো হয়েছে।
