Afghanistan: Suicide bomber shot dead before reaching target in Kandahar
Kandahar: Afghanistan security forces have killed a suicide bomber who was looking to carry out an attack in Zherai district, officials said on Tuesday.
In the process, the security forces foiled a deadly attack in southern Kandahar province.
The Ministry of Interior said in a statement: " Afghan National Police (ANP) gunned down a suicide bomber before reaching to his target in Howz Madad region, Zhiri district of Kandahar."
" No one was harmed during the incident," read the statement futher.
