Dhaka, November 3: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid tribute to the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi No. 32 on the occasion of Jail Killing Day. On Thursday (November 3) at 7 am, the Prime Minister paid tribute by placing a wreath.

Absconding convicts of Jail Killing will be brought back to the country: Home Minister

Dhaka, November 3: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said that the convicts who were sentenced abroad will be brought back to the country and executed in the Jail Killing case of four national leaders who led the liberation war. He said this in response to reporters' questions after laying wreaths and prayers at the portraits of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the four national leaders on the occasion of Jail Killing Day at the Old Central Jail located on Nazimuddin Road in the capital at around 11:00 on Thursday (November 3).

Less than three months after the brutal assassination on August 15, one of the heroic fighters of the liberation war and four national leaders Syed Nazrul Islam, Tajuddin Ahmed, AHM Kamaruzzaman and Captain Mansur Ali were brutally killed inside the Dhaka Central Jail on this day. Earlier, the four national leaders were sent to the central jail on August 15.
