Dhaka, November 2: Tomorrow November 3rd is Jail Killing Day. The day is the second scandalous chapter after the assassination of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family on August 15, 1975.

Less than three months after the brutal killings of August 15, Syed Nazrul Islam, Tajuddin Ahmed, AHM Kamaruzzaman and Captain Mansoor Ali, one of the organizers of the liberation war and four national leaders, were killed in Dhaka Central Jail. Earlier, these four national leaders were sent to central jail after August 15.

The nation will tomorrow remember one of the darkest chapters in the country's history by paying due respect to the four national leaders. The program of Awami League includes lowering the national and party flags at half-mast and hoisting black flags at Bangabandhu Bhavan and the party's central office all over the country as soon as the sun rises.

At 7 a.m., garlanding of Bangabandhu's portrait at Bangabandhu Bhavan premises in Dhanmondi will take place. At 7:30 am, wreath laying, Fateha reading, Milad Mahfil and prayer will be held on the graves of four national leaders at Banani Cemetery.
