Dhaka, February 18: The government of Bangladesh has proposed to provide all necessary assistance to Turkey, which has been affected by the terrible earthquake recently. Bangladesh wants to give this assistance by expressing sympathy to the people of the country. Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen offered this assistance during a phone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.

Earthquake: Bangladeshi team rescue one person in Turkey, 22 bodies recovered

Dhaka, February 16: The combined rescue team of Bangladesh has so far rescued one person from the rubble of the building destroyed by the terrible earthquake in Turkey. Apart from this, 22 bodies were recovered. Md. Shahjahan Sikder, Head (Acting) of Media Branch of Fire Service and Civil Defense Directorate of Fire Service Headquarters, informed this information on Wednesday.

Special rescue team headed by the army departs for earthquake-hit Turkey

Dhaka, February 9: A special rescue team led by the Bangladesh Army has left Dhaka for Turkey for post-earthquake rescue operations and assistance. The team consists of a medium rescue team of 24 from the army, a medical team of 10 and 12 members from the fire service and civil defence.

Turkey earthquake: Two Bangladeshis were rescued from the rubble

Dhaka, February 8: About 40 hours after the earthquake in Turkey, Bangladeshi student Golam Syed Rinku was rescued from the rubble. He was rescued at nine o'clock Bangladesh time on Tuesday. However, sources from the Bangladesh Embassy in Ankara, Turkey said that Rinku's physical condition is serious. Earlier on Monday, another Bangladeshi student was rescued with injuries.
