Kolkata, Nov 29 : India under-19 kept their tri-colour flying by winning the tri-nation cricket series thrashing Bangladesh by 7 wickets in the low poor scoring final match at Jadavpur University Complex in Salt Lake on Sunday.

Electing to bat after winning the toss the visiting side scored 116 in 36.5 overs, and the hosts covered the target ( 117) in 13.3 overs with 219 balls to spare in one of the easiest finals, thanks to Sarfaraz Khan unbeaten 27-ball-59 efforts hitting nine boundaries and three over to the fence.

Coach Rahul Dravid, who rotated the Indian colts in every match they played in the series, also figured Afghanistan, congratulated the boys for scripting victory in all five matches in tri-nation championship.

Bangladesh batting started collapsing right from 4th over owing to disciplined Indian bowling and in reality they fell like nine pins when left armed spinner Mayank Dagar started delivery, who finished 3/32 followed by Mahipal Lomror 2/11
and Shuvam Mavi 2/21.

Nazbul Hossain Shantob ( 45), Joyraj Sheik (28) and wicket-keepr Jakar Ali (24) could stand for double digit score, and rest fell in single digit with  four batsmen out returned to dugout without opening the score.

The win endorsed the supremacy of Indian colts in cricket under-19 in Asia but the World Cup will have an acid test for coach Dravid in Bangladesh early next year.
