Virender Sehwag to announce retirement from international cricket soon
New Delhi, Oct 19 : Flamboyant Indian batsman Virender Sehwag, who has entertained his fans over the years with his charismatic shots and flashy batting skills,is likely to announce his retirement from international cricket soon.
In his glorious career, where he was known for his ability to terrorise bowlers with his abilities to play big shots, Sehwag has played 104 Tests, scoring 8586 runs with an highest score of 319 runs.
In his ODI career, the batsman has played 251 matches scoring 8273 runs with a highest of 219 runs.
He has played 19 T20 matches in his career.
He had represented India in a Test match in 2013 when the national side had faced Australia in Hyderabad.
Sehwag played his last OD match against Pakistan in Kolkata in the same year.
