Dhaka, November 13: Several organizations in the country have demanded Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen's resignation, including the withdrawal of his statement in the international media about the attack on Hindu homes and temples across Bangladesh. Leaders of Bangladesh Chhatra Oikya Parishad, Bangladesh Juba Oikya Parishad, Bangladesh Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Oikya Parishad and Bangladesh Jatiya Hindu Mahajote made the demand at a procession and rally in front of the National Press Club on Friday (November 12) afternoon.

Stories of minority rape and death being spread to embarrass government: Abdul Momen

Dhaka, October 29: Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen said there had been no rapes in the recent communal violence and no temples had been set on fire or destroyed. He said some section of the media and individuals are spreading stories of rape and death of minority minorities to embarrass the government.
