137 of 230 people died of COVID-19 last week were unvaccinated

Own Correspondent, Dhaka, February 15: In the past one week, 230 coronavirus patients have died, and 137 of them did not get vaccinated. The rate is 59.6 percent.

The remaining 93 people (40.4 percent) were vaccinated. Of the 93 people who received the corona vaccine, 29 took the first dose, 63 the second and one booster dose.

Of the 230 people died last week, 152 were men (66.1 percent), and 78 were women (33.9 percent), including two pregnant women.

In addition, 156 people (67.8 percent) of those who died in Corona in the last one week were suffering from co-morbidities. Most of them were suffering from diabetes and hypertension, and many were suffering from heart or kidney diseases, gastroliver, stroke and cancer.

Meanwhile, 19 people have died of coronavirus in the last 24 hours across the country, including the capital. With this, the number of Covid related deaths in the country has risen to 28,838.

At the same time, 4,692 new corona patients have been identified. As a result, the number of corona patients identified in the country so far has reached 19 lakh 14 thousand 356.
