200 metric tons of oxygen is coming to Bangladesh from India

Dhaka, July 25, 2021: For the first time, Indian Railways' Oxygen Express will transport 200 metric tons of liquid medical oxygen (LMO) in 10 containers to Bangladesh.

This special train service started in the country on 24th April. So far, 480 such Oxygen Expresses have been launched in India. On 24 July, Tata demanded the transport of 200 metric tons of liquid medical oxygen to Benapole, Bangladesh, near the Chakradharpur division under the South Eastern Railway.

At 9:25 am, 200 metric tons of liquid medical oxygen was loaded in 10 containers. These will be sent to Bangladesh. This consignment will significantly increase the required reserves of liquid medical oxygen in Bangladesh.

According to the country's Press Information Bureau, the Indian government is committed to tackling its own epidemic situation as well as providing medical equipment to Corona among its neighbors.
