3.7 million people receive second dose of coronavirus vaccine

Dhaka, May 17: So far, more than 3.7 million people in the country have received the second dose of coronavirus vaccine. The number of recipients of this dose of ticker is 37,00,083 people. Of these, 23,78,675 are males and 13,21,408 are females.

Meanwhile, 58,19,912 people have taken the first dose of the vaccine. Of these, 36,08,979 are males and 22,10,933 are females.

A press release signed by the director of the health department, Prof. Dr. Mizanur Rahman, said that 72,48,829 people have so far registered for the vaccine.

According to the Department of Health, 48,930 people across the country have received the second dose of the vaccine in the last 24 hours. Of these, 30,635 are males and 18,295 are females.

So far, 12,48,006 people have taken the second dose of the vaccine in Dhaka division. Of these, 6,67,188 are in Dhaka metropolis. 18,07,975 people took the first dose in Dhaka division and 9,20,004 people took it in Dhaka metropolis.

In Mymensingh division, 1,60,700 people took the second dose and 2,89,233 people took the first dose.

In Chittagong division, 7,56,612 people took the second dose and 11,78,204 people took the first dose.

In Rajshahi division, 3,76,860 people took the second dose and 6,63,967 people took the first dose.

In Rangpur division 3,29,127 people took the second dose and 5,96,943 people took the first dose.

In Khulna division 4,64,938 people took the second dose and 8,31,089 people took the first dose.

In Barisal division 1,60,528 people took the second dose, 2,51,345 people took the first dose and in Sylhet division 2,03,312 people took the second dose, while 3,01,156 people took the first dose.
