38 masters and 10 PhD fellowships given to successful candidates

Dhaka, 9 July 2023 : 48 higher students of various subjects have received Prime Minister's Fellowship (PMF) for the academic year 2023-24.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina awarded 38 Masters and 10 Ph.

So far 277 masters and 108 PhD fellows have been given this scholarship to study in world-class universities.

In order to get this scholarship, every applicant must first secure admission to any one of the world's top 100 universities based on their merit.

After the admission is confirmed, one has to apply for this scholarship under the Governance Innovation Unit (GIU) of the Prime Minister's Office.

Prime Minister launched this PMF in 2018 to develop resource capacity in all sectors. GIU has been entrusted with the management of PMF.

The scholarship is being awarded in three categories: Government officials BCS and non BCS and private candidates. These fellows who have received the Prime Minister's scholarship are studying in reputed universities in different countries including USA, UK, Australia and Canada.
