Lalmonirhat Aviation University Aircraft to be made in Lalmonirhat: PM Hasina
Dhaka, January 15: Prime Minister Sheih Hasina has said that planes will be built at Lalmonirhat, while participating in the inauguration ceremony of the allowance distribution program of the social security program on Thursday (January 14).
"We will build aeroplanes in Lalmonirhat. If we build an aviation and aerospace university, the whole area will change,” the Prime Minister said.
Sheikh Hasina said, Lalmonirhat and Kurigram — these areas were once very neglected. For this reason, Aviation and Aerospace University is being set up in Lalmonirhat. A better organization will be built around this one organization. Besides, an agricultural university is being set up in Kurigram.
At that time, the deputy commissioner of Lalmonirhat said, with the help of digital technology, 1,25,702 people will get allowance facility at home in Lalmonirhat.
Earlier, it used to cost time and money to come to their districts and upazilas from far and wide. Now the beneficiaries will get money sitting at home. One thousand families are going to get kitchen land through Mujibvarshe Asrayan project.
Under the Social Security Enclosure Program of the Ministry of Social Welfare, education stipends for the elderly, widows and husbands, indigent, disabled and handicapped students are inaugurated.
The Prime Minister spoke virtually from Ganobhaban as the chief guest.
