Bangladesh Allegations of BNP's disappearance case are baseless: Home Minister
Dhaka, 22 October 2023: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan has commented that the BNP's disappearance case allegations are baseless. He said this in reply to the questions of the journalists after an exchange of views with the government officials in Raipur of Lakshmipur on Saturday afternoon.
Later, he attended the inauguration of Raipur Upazila Arts School and the gift distribution ceremony on the occasion of Durga Puja at Sri Sri Radhamdan Jiur Temple.
The Home Minister said that if BNP wants to do something through terrorism and militancy, the people of the country will answer it.
Cases are filed wherever the incident occurs. BNP's disappearance case allegations are baseless.
Cases are filed by the victims of the incident. BNP is spreading misinformation by calling it a missing case.
The cases which are called Ghaibi cases, have happened because of those incidents. He said, BNP has been conspiring in the elections. Everyone saw how they committed arson, burned people. So the people of this country have turned away from them.
The Home Minister said that the Prime Minister has developed and enriched the country economically in 15 consecutive years. Changed the country.
When people are not responding to their (BNP) call in any way, they are giving various threats, they will paralyze the country. People will kill again. People do not like this kind of intimidation. People are prepared to eradicate militancy-terrorism forever.
He also said about the pujamandap, since the prime minister came to power in 2008, the number of pujamandap has increased every year. This time there are about 32 thousand 400 pujamandap. Around six lakh Ansars have been deployed in Mandaps for round-the-clock security. There is also police in security. Volunteers are also working in the mandap. Yet a fear is working among all. But we say nothing will happen.
