Another 200 tonnes of Indian liquid oxygen arrive in Bangladesh

Dhaka, August 10: Another 200 tonnes of liquid medical oxygen has arrived in the country from India through Benapole land port. The Oxygen Express train reached Benapole at noon on Monday (August 9), station master Saiduzzaman said.

He said 600 tonnes of medical oxygen had arrived in the country in three consignments of Oxygen Express in July and 616 tonnes in three consignments this August. About 14 lakh revenue has been collected due to the arrival of 1,216 tonnes of liquid medical oxygen in the country.

Saiduzzaman said the oxygen-carrying train left Tatanagar, India and reached Benapole land port via Petrapole land port. After the formalities, the train left for Sirajganj.

Mostafizur Rahman, deputy commissioner of Benapole Custom House, said the Indian train carrying oxygen was unloaded at the Benapole port railway station after completing the formalities.
