Bangladesh: Four suspected terrorists detained in Dhaka
Dhaka, Aug 28: The Rapid Action Battalion officials have arrested four suspected terrorists from Bangladesh capital Dhaka, media reports said on Wednesday.
The arrested people belonged to banned militant outfit ‘Allahr Dal’.
According to bdnews24 news portal, the detained persons were identified as Sirajul, Monir, Hafij and Turin.
The drive was carried out in the Dakkhinkhan area on Wednesday, RAB 1 commanding officer Lt Col Md Sarwar-Bin-Kashem told bdnews24.
They were arrested around 12:30am on Wednesday upon receiving information from the previously detained members of the group, he told bdnews24.
“Two of the arrestees are the top leaders of the banned militant outfit," he told the news portal.
