Humanitarian Aid Bangladesh is sending 500 kg of dry food to Palestine
Own Correspondent, Dhaka 23 October 2023: Bangladesh is sending relief aid to Palestinians in besieged Gaza. Initially, 500 kg of dry food is being sent to the Palestinians.
Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen handed over symbolic food to Palestinian Ambassador Yusuf SY Ramadan at the Foreign Service Academy on Monday, October 23 afternoon.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian ambassador said that the Palestinians are not alone in directing this aid. We are fighting for justice and freedom. Bangladesh has given us courage. We are getting strength and courage to fight. Our children are being killed, family members are being killed. Those stories don't come across right.
He also said that where the West is taking the side of Israel, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has taken a stand for Palestine. Now it's time for the rest of the world to decide. Our fight for justice, human rights will never end.
AK Abdul Momen said that the words of genocide should come right. They have now been given 500 kg of dry food. Later, medicines and other necessary things will be given.
