Dhaka, 17 July 2022 : 25 people lost their lives since Saturday morning in eight districts of the country.

Among them, seven in Tangail, four in Bogra, four in Sirajganj, two in Brahmanbaria, three in Mymensingh, one in Jhenaidah, three in Habiganj and one in Rajshahi.

Seven people were killed in separate road accidents in Tangail's Mirzapur. Four people were killed when a bus hit a stopped truck in Dulya Mansur area of ​​Dhaka-Tangail highway early on Saturday morning. On the same day at noon, a mother along with her son and daughter died in a bus while crossing the road in Jamurki area of ​​the highway.

Four passengers of a private car were killed after being hit by a pickup at Kahalu in Bogra district. The accident happened in the morning in front of Sajal Factory in Dargahhat area of ​​the upazila.
Four people were killed in a collision between a truck and a bus in Hatikumrul-Banpara highway area of ​​Tarash upazila of Sirajganj district. Another 10 people were injured.

Two passengers of a CNG-powered autorickshaw were killed after being hit by a microbus in Brahmanbaria. Four others were injured. The accident took place at Ujanisaar area of ​​Comilla-Sylhet highway around 12 noon.

Three people, including a husband, pregnant wife and child, were killed in a truck crash in Mymensingh's Trishal. The accident happened in front of Khan Diagnostic Center on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway at 2:30 pm.

A farmer named Lokman Hossain (80) was killed by a truck in Jhenaidah's Kaliganj. At least six people were injured. The accident took place at Barobazar Pirojpur area of ​​Jhenaidah-Jesore regional highway around 7 am. Son of deceased Rustam Biswas of Khosalpur village of Lokman upazila.

Three passengers of a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw were killed after being hit by a passenger bus in Habiganj's Nabiganj. Another person was injured at this time. The accident happened in the afternoon in front of Rostampur toll plaza on Dhaka-Sylhet highway.

A policeman named Jewel Hossain (31) was killed in a bus accident in Mohanpur of Rajshahi district. During this time his wife was seriously injured. The accident took place at the turning point of the Rajshahi-Naogaon highway in Sankoa village of the upazila around 11:30 am. The officials of the concerned police station confirmed the news of these accidents.
