Bangladesh to host three-day tourism fair from Dec 1

The tourism fair organized by the Association of Travel Agents of Bangladesh (ATAB) will continue till December 3. The fair will be held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the capital.

This information was announced at the title sponsorship agreement signing and press conference between Atab and the country's new domestic airline Air Astra at Pan-Pacific Sonargaon in the capital on Saturday (November 12).

On behalf of Atab, Atab Secretary General Abdus Salam Aref and on behalf of Air Astra, Air Astra CEO Imran Asif signed the MoU. As per the agreement, Air Astra will enjoy exclusive privileges as all branding and title sponsor of the expo premises.

During this time, he participated in some activities related to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, such as product branding, quality improvement of the country's tourism services to earn foreign exchange and creating a market for sales, cultural events, family tours, promotion of tourism industry, traditional food display, embassies of different countries, high commissions. Establishing good relations with, building strong business relations between travel agencies, tour operators, airlines, increasing tourism awareness of the country, conducting various seminars, round table discussions, workshops, BTUB sessions, civil to present tourism services to domestic and foreign organizations and individuals. As a partner of the Ministry of Air Transport and Tourism and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he presented the plan of international quality travel and tourism exhibition in Bangladesh.
