Bangladesh Accident Bangladesh: Two bicycle riders die as microbus hits them
Dhaka, March 2, 2021: Two motorcyclists were killed when a microbus hit them in front of SI Park Community Center in Satkania upazila on the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar highway.
The accident took place around 8 am on Saturday (March 20).
The deceased were identified as Abdur Rahman, son of Obaidul Haque, 30, of Shukchhari area of Lohagara upazila and Mohammad Ali, a resident of Jungle Padua area of the same upazila. Osman's son said. Noman (22).
Locals UP member Shahed Hossain said, ‘In the morning, two youths were going to Chittagong from Lohagara on a motorcycle. At this time, when they reached in front of SI Park, a microbus coming from the opposite direction pushed them. Two youths on a motorcycle died on the spot.
Confirming the matter, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Dohazari Highway Police Station Abdur Rob said, "Two youths were killed in a collision between a high school and a motorcycle around 8 am. Police went to the spot and recovered the body and brought it to the police station. The microbus was also seized at the same time. The next legal action will be taken after talking to the relatives of the deceased.
