Bangladesh: Two-storey building collapses in old Dhaka, several feared trapped
Dhaka, July 17: A two-storey building collapsed in old Dhaka's Patuatuli area as several people are feared to be trapped under the debris, media reports said.
At least two people are believed to be trapped in the rubble, according to locals. But police could not immediately confirm the matter, bdnews24 reported.
According to reports, the building crumbled at around 1.30 pm on Wednesday.
“The two-storey structure collapsed in its entirety," said Mohammad Ali, senior station manager of the fire service, told the newsportal.
“We’ve heard that some people were trapped inside the building. But we can’t confirm it," Kotwali Police OC Shahidur Rahman told
