Bhutan envoy says his nation will always remain beside Bangladesh

Dhaka, 19 February 2023 : Ambassador of Bhutan, Rinchen Quindsil, said that the Bhutanese government has been with Bangladesh since its inception and will continue to do so in the future.

He said this at a formal reception given to him in Brahmanbaria on Saturday.

Ambassador Rinchen Quindsil visited Kachuamora village of Paharpur Union of Upazila on Saturday afternoon at the invitation of Bangladeshi businessman Oli Ahmed in Bhutan.

Ubaidul Moktadir Chowdhury said that before the final victory in Bangladesh's independence struggle, Bhutan played an important role in recognizing Bangladesh as a state in the world by recognizing it. After the reception, Ambassador Rinchen Quindsil attended a luncheon at noon. After that, the president of the parliamentary standing committee regarding the Ministry of Private Aviation and Tourism.
