Police Awards Biplab Kumar Sarkar again named best DC of DMP
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, April 19: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Md. Shafiqul Islam has awarded police personnel at different levels in recognition of their good work.
These policemen were rewarded for their important role in various categories, including arms, drugs and arrest warrants settlements, in March.
The DMP commissioner awarded the best police personnel selected on the basis of work at a monthly crime review meeting in March at the DMP headquarters on Monday (April 18).
Biplob Kumar Sarkar has become the best Deputy Commissioner of Police (DC) and Tejgaon division has got the first position among the eight crime divisions of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP). Mohammadpur police station has been named the best police station.
However, Uttara Division has got the top position in warrant settlement. Mujib Ahmed Patwari, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mohammadpur Zone, Tejgaon Division, has become the first among the Assistant Commissioners of Police, Crime Division, DMP.
Bangshal Police Inspector (Investigation) Mir Rezaul Islam has become the best among the Inspector of Police investigations, and Md. Tofazzal Hossain, Inspector of Police (Operations) of Mohammadpur Police Station, is the first among the police inspectors (operations).
Chawkbazar Model Police Station SI Pradeep Kumar Biswas and Mirpur Model Police Station SI Mohammad Anisur Rahman were jointly selected as the best SI.
ASI Md. Mikael Mollah of Airport Police Station and ASI Md. Helal Uddin of Motijheel Police Station were jointly selected the best ASI.
Wari Traffic Division got the top position among the eight traffic divisions. Mohammadpur Traffic Zone Assistant Commissioner of Police Kazi Haniful Islam has been selected as the best Assistant Commissioner of Police. The best traffic inspector (TI) is TI Hossain Zakaria Menon of Jatrabari Traffic Zone. The best sergeant / TSI has been jointly selected by Mohammadpur Traffic Zone Police Sergeant Abdul Quader and Demra Traffic Zone Police Sergeant Md. Kaushik Mahmud.
